While fishing with my best friend and right after stating that, "I have never caught a largemouth bass through the ice," I caught this beauty on Feb. 5! This bass was 18½ inches long and I caught it on a small lake in Beltrami County by the name of Sandy Lake. I was fishing in 30 feet of water with glow demon jig tipped with a minnow and caught and released the bass that was suspended in 10 feet. I guess it is possible to catch a largemouth under the ice!
