Put ’em on Ice entry, First In The Field
From Our Readers - This is a photo of myself, during my first time ever ice fishing! Despite living in the north all my life, and also in northern Minnesota for the better part of the past year, I've never caught a fish through the ice... until this trip where a friend and I were rather successful at catching the crappies. Anyhow, we were fishing up near Ely, MN on Fall Lake, using live minnows for bait. The fish in this photo was 14-1/2 inches. I now live in Ely, but my hometown is Oshkosh, WI. I cannot wait for next winter!
