The 5th Annual DAV Turkey hunt proved to be very successful again this year on April 21. The weather for this event was great with temps in the 50s and 70s. This year, there were 37 disabled veterans participating, two more than last year, with 15 successfully harvesting birds by 5 pm on the first day and eight more on the second day. The total harvest was 23 birds this year.
