Dean from Inver Grove Heights, MN shows off a couple of nice walleyes from his bucket. Dean and his friend Walt fished for just a few hours (Dec. 6) and came in with a nice catch to kick off the 08 ice fishing season. They reported that the ice is a good 10 plus inches and the clarity of the water is good. They were fishing at a depth of 16-18 feet of water on a scouting expedition for Sportsman's Lodge. Guides are busy placing houses, trying to get a sense of where the fish are hanging out.
