Chip The Turkey
This is a picture of "Chip" as my 12-year-old daughter Sara calls him. We borrowed a trail cam from a buddy after deer season to keep Sara and I in the woods. Here's the bear that Max Roszlowski, Bemidji, arrowed
north of Bemidji on Sept. 14, 2005. His trail camera let
the 14-year-old know the bear was showing up after
dark. On Day 14 in his stand, the bear came out early.
It left early too, but only made it 75 yards. The
bear dressed out at 497 pounds, with estimated live
weight of 586 pounds. Green score on the skull was
21-22 inches. |
